Ninja Crispi Microwave – a microwave that air fries the soggy out of leftovers

Reheated pizza in a microwave is a crime. The cheese is lava, the crust is a wet sponge, and you eat it anyway because the oven takes 15 minutes to preheat.
The Ninja Crispi Microwave is a countertop microwave with a full air fryer built in. Its party trick is FusionCrisp: it microwaves your food first so it’s hot all the way through, then switches to air frying to crisp the outside. Same box, one button.
It’s Ninja’s first microwave, and it went straight for the most annoying thing about microwaves. Respect.

What is the Ninja Crispi Microwave?
SharkNinja launched it in the US on July 16, 2026. It combines a 1000-watt microwave with a 1700-watt air fryer, according to Ninja’s Amazon listing, and it gets up to 450°F.
Inside, there’s no turntable. The flatbed floor gives you more usable space, and Ninja says you can fit a 9 x 11 inch baking dish or four bowls of leftovers. For air frying, a 5.5-quart glass dish with a crisper plate slides in on runners near the top. That glassware is the same idea as Ninja’s Crispi glass air fryer, and Ninja says it’s PFAS, PTFE and PFOA free.
You get eight microwave presets (popcorn, potato, defrost, beverage, soup, frozen dinner, frozen vegetable and soften butter), five air fry modes, and FusionCrisp.
How does FusionCrisp work?
You set two times: one for the microwave stage and one for the air fry stage. The microwave cooks the food through, it beeps, and the fan and heater take over to brown it. Ninja claims full meals are ready up to 60% faster than in a conventional oven.
Tom’s Guide made a fruit crumble that way in 30 minutes, about 10 minutes faster than in their oven, and liked the result. Homes & Gardens used it for whole chicken breasts and got juicy meat with a crispy outside, which is hard to do in a normal air fryer.
The good and the not-so-good
The good: Homes & Gardens called it one of the most practical air fryer combos on the market. Their reviewer found frozen nuggets crisped without flipping, roast veg cooked in about half the oven time, and the turntable-free microwave cooked more evenly than any turntable she’d used. The glass dish and crisper plate go in the dishwasher.
The not-so-good: it’s huge. Tom’s Guide says it’s a two-person job to get out of the box. Amazon lists it at 20.3 inches wide and 50 pounds, and Tom’s Guide notes it needs about 12 inches of clear space above it. It can’t be built into a cabinet. The glass dish is heavy and slippery in oven mitts, according to both reviewers. And the timings take practice: Homes & Gardens followed the manual for a garlic baguette and “cremated” it.
Who is the Ninja Crispi Microwave for?
It’s for anyone who reheats leftovers more than they cook from scratch (hi), and for small households that want one appliance instead of a microwave plus an air fryer. Fries, wings and frozen snacks are what this thing lives for.
Skip it if your counter is small, or if your microwave sits in a cabinet. A regular air fryer or a compact countertop oven takes less room. More ideas in our kitchen gadget gifts.
Where can I buy the Ninja Crispi Microwave?
Ninja sells it on SharkNinja.com, where it launched at 449.99 dollars. Amazon has it in Silver, Black, Cyberspace and Stone Gold. On Amazon, the Cyberspace version was on sale for about 350 bucks at the time of writing (October 2026), with a 4.6-star rating from 188 reviews.
Crispy leftovers. Finally. Take my money.
