Nokia 8110 4G (Banana Phone)

If you decide to dial back the features on your phone to the nineties, why not get the coolest feature phone from back in the day? Nokia’s banana phone (the 8110) was made famous by the movie The Matrix and has now been relaunched by HMG. This time around it adds a 4G connection to keep up with modern times.

What does the Nokia 8110 do?

The relaunched, retro banana phone comes in black and banana yellow and features a curved screen and the signature smooth slider that allows you to answer incoming phone calls (really the main reason to get it).

The 4G connection gets you a fast connection to chat, surf and provide a hotspot for your other devices.

The 8110 features KaiOS, a feature phone OS with smartphone capabilities. Naturally, you’ll get a pre-installed Snake game. In addition the KaiOS store allows you to download apps such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Maps and YouTube. WhatsApp is also on the horizon, but at the time of writing it’s not yet available.
