For a bigger table, Ravensburger’s Villainous puts two to four players in charge of the bad guys: Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, General Grievous, Asajj Ventress or Moff Gideon. Each villain has their own board, deck and goal, and the other players get to play “fate” cards against you, which is where the friendships end.

It’s rated 18+ and built for display, so it’s for adult fans with shelf space. UCS sets are expensive, and this one is no exception. If that’s too much, the mainline Razor Crest from the same wave is the cheaper Mando ship.
Gift tips
- Know their era. Original trilogy, prequels or Mandalorian? A Clone Wars fan will love Zero Company. A 1977 purist might not.
- Check the platform. Video games and consoles don’t mix. Ask (sneakily) which console they have.
- Batteries not included. Check the box of anything that lights up or talks, and tape a pack of batteries to it if needed. Christmas morning is a bad time to find out the helmet is silent.
