SNOOZ Go 2 – a travel sound machine for people who can't sleep in hotels

Hotel rooms have three sounds. The ice machine down the hall. The elevator. And a guy in the next room who is very excited about something at 2 AM.
The SNOOZ Go 2 is a small rechargeable travel sound machine that plays white noise, fan sounds or rain to cover all of that up. It also works as a Bluetooth speaker and a night light, and it hangs off your bag on a little loop. SNOOZ launched it in early 2026 as the follow-up to the original SNOOZ Go.
If you’re the person who packs a box fan “just in case”, this is your smaller, quieter way out.

What is the SNOOZ Go 2?
It’s a round, fabric-covered puck of about 3.7 by 3.7 inches and 1.7 inches thick, and it weighs 6.4 ounces according to the Amazon listing. SNOOZ is the brand behind the SNOOZ white noise machine with a real fan inside. The Go line is the travel version, so there’s no fan here. The sounds are built in.
There are 12 of them: white noise, brown noise, box fan, table fan, airplane cabin, ocean, rain, river, summer nights, fireplace, ambient and meditation. No app, no subscription. You press the buttons on the front and you’re done.
What changed from the original SNOOZ Go?
SNOOZ lists four upgrades on its Amazon page:
- 12 sounds instead of 6
- Up to 24 hours of battery instead of up to 20, depending on volume, light and Bluetooth use
- Louder volume, for better masking of noise
- A travel pouch and a built-in loop lock, so you can hang it on a bag or a stroller
It charges over USB-C, and the cable is in the box. The night light is a warm glow around the base. You switch it on or off by holding the power button for five seconds.
The good and the not-so-good
The good: it replaces two or three things in your bag. Sound machine at night, speaker for a podcast while you unpack, night light so you don’t stub your toe on a hotel bed frame. It doesn’t need Wi-Fi or an app, which matters in a hotel where the Wi-Fi login page wants your room number, your last name and your blood type.
The not-so-good: Bluetooth is only for streaming audio. The Go 2 doesn’t connect to the SNOOZ app, so everything happens on the buttons. And if you only need it at home, the original SNOOZ with its real fan is the one built for the bedroom. The “24 hours” is a best case. SNOOZ itself says it depends on volume and the light.
Who is the SNOOZ Go 2 for?
Light sleepers who travel, parents who need white noise for a baby in a strange room, and anyone who sleeps with earbuds in and wants to stop. At about 60 bucks it’s a sweet stocking stuffer for the frequent flyer in your life. It goes well with the rest of our sleep gadgets.
Skip it if you only need noise at home and never leave the house. A plug-in machine with more sounds and an app makes more sense there.
Where can I buy the SNOOZ Go 2?
SNOOZ sells it on its own site and through its Amazon store. It was about 60 bucks on Amazon at the time of writing (October 2026).
The guy next door can party all he wants. You’ll be listening to a box fan.
