KeySmart SmartCard Pro – a wallet tracker you charge once every two years
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It costs you nothing extra.

Pat your back pocket. Wallet? Good. Now imagine that moment in a taxi, on a beach, or at the end of a long night out, and the pocket is empty. The stomach drop is universal. AirTags help, but an AirTag in a wallet makes a lump the size of a cough drop.
The KeySmart SmartCard Pro is a wallet tracker the size of a credit card, 2.4 millimeters thick, that shows up on a map in Apple’s Find My app. KeySmart launched it in May 2026. The headline number: the maker says one charge lasts up to 24 months. That’s a stocking stuffer that outlasts the stocking.

What is the KeySmart SmartCard Pro?
It’s a Bluetooth tracker shaped like a bank card. You slide it into a card slot, pair it with your phone, and from then on the Find My network (all the iPhones around you, anonymously) reports where it is. Tap “Play Sound” and it beeps.
KeySmart also makes key organizers that fold your keys into one neat bundle. The SmartCard is its line of tracker cards, and the Pro is the top model.
According to KeySmart:
- It’s 2.4mm thin and weighs 19.6 grams.
- A 350mAh battery lasts up to 24 months per charge.
- It charges on any Qi wireless charger (charger not included).
- A new “Atlas Gen 3” chip connects faster and more reliably than generic trackers, says KeySmart.
- It has a polished aluminum frame and a see-through shell, so you can see the charging coil inside.
How does it work?
9to5Mac describes the setup as very simple: open Find My, hold the button on the card for five seconds, give it a name. Its reviewer found the speaker “amazingly loud”, loud enough to find the card under couch cushions.
One thing to check before you buy. KeySmart’s own shop sells a Pro that works with either Apple Find My or Google Find Hub. The version I link to on Amazon is listed for Apple Find My only, and the listing says it isn’t Android compatible. So: iPhone people, go ahead. Android people, buy from KeySmart directly.
The good and the not-so-good
What I like:
- Two years per charge on paper. Older wallet cards from KeySmart lasted about five months, according to their Amazon listings, and the cheaper SmartCard Gen 3 is rated at 11 months.
- It’s 2.4mm, so it fits in a slim wallet. KeySmart points out an AirTag is 8mm.
- Wireless charging means no tiny cable to lose. Ironic, for a product that stops you losing things.
- The see-through shell looks cool. A tracker you’d actually show someone.
What could be better:
- The Amazon version is Apple only.
- Battery life is a maker claim. Nobody has had one for 24 months yet, because it came out in May.
- You need your own Qi charger. If they don’t have one, add it to the gift.
- It costs more than an AirTag (Apple lists that at $29), which also goes in a wallet if you don’t mind the bump.
Who is the KeySmart SmartCard Pro for?
The friend who loses their wallet, the frequent traveler, and the teenager with a new debit card. It also works in a passport holder or a laptop sleeve, anywhere a card fits.
If the thing you lose is keys, a round tracker like the Apple AirTag 2 or the cheaper Chipolo POP fits a keyring better. And if you’re shopping for someone with a very small wallet, see our gifts for minimalists.
Where can I buy the KeySmart SmartCard Pro?
KeySmart sells the SmartCard Pro on Amazon through its own store. The Apple Find My version was about 40 bucks at the time of writing (October 2026), with 4.1 stars from 23 ratings. The Find My or Find Hub version, plus 3-packs and 5-packs, is on KeySmart’s website.
