The Mokibo is the first keyboard where the keys have an embedded touchpad. You will get all the convenience and gesture controls from your Apple Trackpad, but it’s all done on your keybed.
Made by INNOPRESSO in Korea, the Mokibo sports a small footprint, similar to that of a small laptop. The Pantograph keyboard provides comfort and reduces finger fatigue.
Across the keys there are 80 touch sensors hidden from sight. Just like a Trackpad you can touch, swipe, pinch and tap to control what’s on your computer or tablet screen. You can use up to four fingers at the same time for fine-grained control over the things you see on your screen.
The keyboard connects with Bluetooth and has an internal chargeable battery that you can charge over a micro USB connection. You will find compatibility with Apple, Windows and Android devices.
Pricing and Availability
This looks to be an ideal portable keyboard for people that haul around a separate mouse or trackpad everywhere. You can just toss the Mokibo in a bag and have full control over your mobile and computer devices wherever you go.
Release date of the Mokibo is still unknown. The manufacturer ran an Indiegogo campaign of this keyboard which is now in shipping state after a long wait. The price seems so be around $85. Go to the website below to apply for a pre-order (by filling in a form)
