The Specdrums are the missing link my finger-drumming self needed. These app-enabled smart rings are able to detect the color you’re tapping and can then produce an associated sound with it. It will unleash your finger drumming into full fledged music production.
What are the Specdrums?
You can have one or two of the Specdrums rings on your finger and the Specdrums app on your phone. The rings detect a tap and the color you tapped on and can then translate it by registering this tap on your phone via a Bluetooth connection.
The companion Specdrums Mix app allows you to record samples, connect colors with sounds and mix your music to a full production. Another app called Specdrums Music allows you to learn music theory based on the colors you’re tapping.
You can decide to play the different colors you come across in daily life or whenever you have a limited color pallet around you, tap on the supplied Specdrums Playing Pad which has all the colors you need to get jamming.
